IMPACTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE ON OTHER WORLD

Introduction: Climate change has become an undeniable reality, with its effects reverberating throughout the world. Beyond the obvious changes in weather patterns, rising sea levels, and extreme weather events, there are hidden consequences that often go unnoticed. These hidden impacts of climate change are not only affecting our environment but also jeopardizing our health, economies, and ecosystems. In this blog, we will explore some of the lesser-known effects of climate change and shed light on the urgent need for global action. Hidden Impact 1: Health Crisis As temperatures rise and weather patterns become more unpredictable, public health is increasingly at risk. Heatwaves, intensified by climate change, can lead to heat-related illnesses and fatalities. Moreover, changing climate conditions create favorable environments for the spread of infectious diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, and Lyme disease. The consequences of climate change on human health are often overshadowed

WHAT MEASURES IS PAKISTAN TAKING FOR CLIMATE CHANGE?

 Introduction

There are many things that can be done to mitigate the effects of climate change in Pakistan. One of the most important things is to increase awareness about the issue and its impact on the country. The Pakistani government has taken some steps in this direction, but more needs to be done to engage the public on this critical issue.

In the last few years, climate change has had a significant impact on Pakistan. Subsequently, in 2013, the Government of Pakistan launched a National Climate Change Policy (NCCP) and an accompanying implementation framework. And with the help of other developed countries, especially with the support of the United Nations, they have started paying particular attention to this problem.

The government has launched several projects to achieve this goal, including the Ten billion tree tsunami, the establishment of national parks, wetlands, and wildlife restoration. Prime Minister Khan said that if the government shows determination, the effects of climate change can be reversed.

The Government has also embarked on the Eco-system Restoration Initiative( ESRI) for easing the transition towards environmentally flexible Pakistan by mainstreaming acclimatization and mitigation through ecologically targeted ambition.

These include afforestation, biodiversity conservation, enhancing policy terrain harmonious with the objectives of Pakistan’s Nationally Determined donation( NDC), and attaining Land Degradation Neutrality( LDN).

The idea of this action is to establish an independent, transparent, and comprehensive fiscal medium in Pakistan called the “Eco-system Restoration Fund( ESRF) ” to finance the systems and programs. The Ministry of global climate change( MoCC) has taken the following major enterprise.

The Pakistan delegation at Bobby- 25 secured 06 positions for colorful panels under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change( UNFCCC) showing trust in Pakistan’s commitment to climate accommodations.

The NDC Partnership is supporting Pakistan in mapping out its climate- flexible.
Pakistan’s Second National Communication has been developed and submitted to the united nations Framework Convention on Climate Change( UNFCCC) Secretariat.

In order to alleviate the carbon emigration impacts of vehicles on the terrain and its associated costs, the government of Pakistan has approved its National Electric Vehicle Policy targeting a 30 percent shift to electric by 2030. also, the world’s first “ zero emigrations ” metro line design has been launched within the city of Karachi.
Another crucial area is adaption. As Pakistan gets more extreme rainfall conditions, it’s important that communities are prepared for these changes.

This includes having access to clean water, food, and sanctum during times of disaster. The Pakistani government has been performing on developing early warning systems and evacuation plans for communities at threat from cataracts and other natural disasters.

Eventually, it’s important to reduce emigrations of hothouse feasts. this can be done through a variety of measures similar to adding energy effectiveness, promoting renewable energy sources, and planting trees. The Pakistani government has set targets for reducing emigration, but more needs to be done to meet these pretensions.

All stakeholders – including the Pakistani government, businesses, civil society associations, and individualities – need to take action on climate change. By working together, we’re suitable to make a difference and help cover. The Pakistani government has begun to take action on climate change, but far more needs to be done.

The country must invest in better irrigation practices, failure-resistant crops, and early warning systems for extreme rainfall events. Without these measures, Pakistan will continue to suffer from the ruinous goods of climate change.

As we know, the world is working on climate-related issues because they realize that they will be affected by climate change in the future. However, the climate conditions will worsen, If developed countries do not take this issue seriously and take preventative measures.
Countries like Pakistan which are most susceptible to climate change also need to act duly. within recent history, the government of Pakistan has been trying to save the country from unborn disasters with the help of developed countries. Pakistan is presently digging into a delicate period, so there’s a dire need for special measures to deal with these disasters in the future.

The Pakistani government has conceded the soberness of global climate change and has taken some ways to address the issue. still, further requirements are to be wiped out in order to alleviate the goods of climate change and to acclimatize to the changing terrain.

The most important work at present is the construction of Dams, which has been for the once persistently to conserve water coffers and induce electricity. And secondly, Pakistan needs forestation to shield wildlife and clean the weakened air that’s affected by carbon dioxide produced by diligence, coal burning, and vehicles.

In particular, the world organization is taking precautionary measures by expressing special concerns and raising the issue globally, and taking steps to pander to this issue comprehensively. They have considered how environmental pollution can be controlled.
How can toxic emissions from industries be eliminated and how can the harms caused by them be avoided? They also emphasized that developing countries are most affected by climate change so all the developed countries have to think about how to save the whole region from this catastrophe. And focused on climate change solutions.

CLIMATE CHANGE'S IMPACT ON WATER RESOURCES

INTRODUCTION   Pakistan is no stranger to natural disasters. Floods, droughts, and heat waves are a regular occurrence, and they often take a devastating toll on the country’s citizens.  Now, a new report has revealed that climate change is making these disasters even worse. The report, which was compiled by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), warns that climate change is increasing the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events in Pakistan. As a result, the country’s water crisis is only going to get worse.  This is a critical issue for Pakistan, as water shortages have already led to widespread protests and social unrest. In some areas, access to clean water is becoming increasingly difficult – and in some cases, it’s simply not available at all. Unless something is done to address the impact of climate change, things are only going to get worse.     INTRODUCTION TO THE WATER CRISIS IN PAKISTAN   Pakistan is one of the most water-stressed countries on Earth. CONSTRUCTION OF DAMS IN PAKISTAN

INTRODUCTION  Dams are built for a variety of reasons, including flood control, irrigation, and hydroelectric power generation. With climate change and variable weather patterns, the construction of dams to store water for later use has become essential. The construction of dams has been a major problem in Pakistan for decades. No major dam has been built in Pakistan since 1984. Due to this Pakistan has always seen destruction after floods. And no way to save a large amount of water. But now a few years ago Pakistan is showing more concern and taking steps to build big dams. Now Pakistan is working on the construction of seven big dams. Which are: Kurram Tangi Dam  KPK  2016  Dasu Dam  KPK  2020  Mohmand Dam  KPK  2019  Kalam Dam  KPK   –  Othla Dam  KPK   –  Jabba Dam  KPK   –  Jalozai Dam  KPK   –  Dadocha Dam  Punjab   –  Nai Gaj Dam  Sindh   –  Darawat Dam  Sindh   –  Naulong Dam   Balochistan   –  Basha Dam  Gilgit-Baltistan  2019  list of under-construction dams in Pakistan KURRA

CLIMATE CHANGE AND ENVIROMENTAL CHALLENGES IN PAKISTAN

featured  by  Malick Jawad Introduction Climate change is one of the most important global environmental challenges facing the whole world, especially Pakistan. It refers to the change in atmospheric conditions on Earth.  The changing climate is already adversely affecting Pakistan’s agriculture, water resources, health, and economy. In Pakistan, the effects of climate change are already being felt. The country has experienced an increase in floods and landslides in recent years.  There has also been a decrease in crop yields and an increase in desertification. These changes are having a negative impact on the economy and on the lives of ordinary Pakistanis. Climate change has been observed in Pakistan as well, with some regions already experiencing adverse effects. Located in the region of South Asia, Pakistan is one of the most climate-vulnerable developing countries on Earth. The country is also economically weak and lacks the resilience to deal with natural disasters. CAUSES OF C
